Since I start work later today, thought I'd visit the beach and enjoy some down time before it gets too hot.

It's sunny with a nice cool breeze off the Atlantic ocean. The waves are slowly losing their chop and I find myself becoming more and more relaxed in my beach chair.

I've already written in my journal and think I'll close my eyes for a bit while enjoying the sound of the waves and my MP3s on my Storm. Maybe I'll do a little reading and some more writing in a bit.

This is a pretty good day for me to start the day...and the week.

After a day of rain and dark clouds, the sun is out, everyone is at the beach and everything is once again right with the world.

Like every other weekend in Miami, there are a ton of things going on. I don't know what they all are but the Sony Tennis Open is one of them. I love tennis but haven't been to a match since a US Open a few years ago. I think I'll go check out the Sony Open tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as it is today.

It started raining shortly after I woke up this morning. Fortunately I wasn't planning to go to the gym today. In a couple minutes I'll start working out with one of my favorite yoga programs...a Kundalini Yoga DVD with Ana Brett and Ravi.

I do need to get some groceries though. Hopefully it will stop long enough for me to run out and grab a few things.

I'm on a pretty late lunch today but it seemed like a shame to spend such a beautiful day inside. Lots of people are out on the streets, playing vollyball and sunbathing but not many people in the water. Looks like a few clouds are rolling in but the weather is still perfect, warm with a nice cool breeze. I've been to the gym three days in a row this week and I'm feeling it. Still, I'm having fun and seeing the results. In fact, I'm looking for more physical activities to enjoy here in South Beach. I think I'll do some yoga tomorrow and return to the gym on Sat.

I guess my question about the Spring Breakers has been answered. Starting right about 11 am, they seemed to start coming out of the woodwork, or I guess the sand in this case. It's such a beautiful day (sunny, 77 degrees) that I wish I could lay here relaxing, studying and writing all day. Unfortunately, I have to leave in a few minutes to get to work.

Had a great boxing workout at the gym and soaking up some sun at my favorite spot. The Spring Break crowd is virtually missing. I wonder if they've returned to school or if it's too early for them.
